It is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light. It is the opposite of white and often represents darkness in contrast with light. This, my dear Snoopers, is the meaning of the word "Black", according to Wikipedia. Briefly, black isn't a color. Is simply "no color". And this sad characteristic gives black the popularity of being the sign of bad luck and death omens. In my opinion I think black has a very deeper meaning, and especially animals are fantastic in this color.
